Vagisil is used to treat vaginal dryness, moisturising and nourishing it to make women’s daily lives (and sex lives) more enjoyable. It’s also effective for relieving the external itching associated with thrush.
Vagisil is a moisturising cream that works directly on aggravated nerves to calm the inflammation and relieve symptoms such as itching, burning and irritation.
A lot of things can interfere with your vaginal health, be it strongly perfumed products, tight clothes, synthetic fabrics, perspiration, thrush or sex. If you’re suffering from itching and irritation then you will find it can interrupt daily life.
Using Vagisil helps to calm the inflammation, providing soothing relief from symptoms.
Vagisil is a cream that should be applied externally only, in the area immediately surrounding the vagina and the anus. The cream is easy to use and should be applied to the necessary areas.
Use Vagisil as required, usually 3 or 4 times daily. Each time you apply a dose, you should use approximately 3-5cm of cream and you should always wash your hands before and after application.
Vagisil is designed to be taken by women and is not suitable for men or children. You should also not take Vagisil if:
Take care with Vagisil and ensure you store it out of reach of children and do not get it in your eyes. If you accidentally do get some of the cream in your eyes then rinse very well with water and contact a doctor if you notice irritation or redness.
Because of its ingredients, Vagisil is not suitable for all women and you should seek advice from a doctor before using it if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking other medications, suffer from a chronic illness or suffer from allergies.
You should cease using Vagisil immediately and contact your doctor if you experience any serious side effects or if you notice signs of an allergic reaction.
